RSP Expands Central Committee with 14 New Members

The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has announced the nomination of 14 individuals to join its central committee. This decision was reached during a joint meeting of the central committee and parliamentary committee held in Jaleshwar, Mahottari. Mukul Dhakal, the party’s spokesperson, conveyed this information to Nepalkhabar.

The move to increase the central committee’s membership comes as part of an effort to strengthen the party and enhance its representation. The central committee previously comprised 40 members, but due to recent changes, the number needed adjustment. Dhaka Kumar Shrestha was suspended, and Mohan Bahadur Thapa resigned from his position, leading to the decision to nominate new members.

The newly nominated central committee members include Deputy Parliamentary Party Leader Biraj Bhakta Shrestha, Chief Whip Santosh Pariyar, Dr. Swarnim Wagle, Whip Nisha Dangi, MP Manish Jha, Dr. Toshima Karki, Shishir Khanal, Hari Dhakal, Dr. Chanda Karki (Bhandari), Asim Shah, Lakshmi Tiwari, Ashok Kumar Chaudhary, Shiva Nepali, and Binita Kathayat. Notably, all fourteen leaders appointed during this meeting currently hold positions as Members of Parliament.
