Stable Day for NEPSE with Modest Gains

In today’s trading session, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) saw minimal fluctuations, registering a slight increase of 0.07 percent to close at 1,980.34 points. This modest growth comes a day after the market experienced a significant rise.
Notably, finance and development bank sectors outperformed, with shares of Pokhara Finance and Janaki Finance surging by 10 percent. In contrast, sectors like hotel, hydropower, investment, insurance, production, and others faced declines. Peoples Power Company notably saw its shares decrease by six percent.
Overall, the market remained relatively stable with 7,341,000 shares of 317 companies being traded, amounting to a total of Rs. 2.95 billion.
