Storm Likely in Lumbini and Sudur Paschim

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has issued a weather bulletin predicting the likelihood of storms in Lumbini and Sudur Paschim provinces later today.

The weather across Nepal is expected to be partially cloudy in some areas and generally clear in others, influenced by westerly winds combined with local winds. Currently, Sudur Paschim, Karnali, Lumbini, and Gandaki provinces are experiencing partially cloudy conditions, while the remaining provinces have clear skies.

There is a possibility of light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in the hilly areas of Koshi province and some parts of Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces. Additionally, light snowfall may occur at a few locations in the high hilly and mountainous regions.

As the day progresses, the weather is forecasted to remain clear across the country. However, there is a chance of light rain with thunder and lightning in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki regions during the night. Furthermore, storms are anticipated in Lumbini and some places in the plains of Sudur Paschim Province.
