Kathmandu District Court Orders Judicial Custody for 16 Individuals, Including Khand and Rayamajhi

The Kathmandu District Court has issued an order today to send 16 individuals, including former ministers Bal Krishna Khand and Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, along with Secretary Tek Narayan Pandey, into judicial custody in the ongoing Fake Bhutanese refugee case.
The decision comes after the conclusion of the public prosecutor’s counterargument in the case, which lasted for two weeks.
The court bench, presided over by Judge Prem Prasad Neupane, has further ruled for the release on bail of two individuals, including Lakshmi Maharjan.
