West Indies ‘A’ Sets 173-Run Target in Final T20 Against Nepal

In a thrilling final match of the T20 series today at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, West Indies ‘A’ has given Nepal a target of 173 runs. Winning the toss and choosing to bat, West Indies ‘A’ were able to put up a formidable score.

Nepal’s bowlers, however, made impressive efforts to contain the visitors’ batsmen. Sagar Dhakal and Sompal Kami both excelled on the field, taking three wickets each, while Abhinash Bohara contributed with one wicket.

Roston Lamar Chase led the batting effort for the West Indies ‘A’ with 33 runs, a total matched by his namesake, Roston Lamar Chase. Johnson Charles and Matthew Walter Forde also made significant contributions with 24 and 23 runs respectively.

Despite this strong performance in the final match, West Indies ‘A’ already had a firm grip on the series lead, standing 3-1 after three consecutive wins. Nepal’s earlier win in the first match of the series, where they won by 4 wickets, was their only victory, suffering subsequent losses by 10 runs, 76 runs, and 28 runs in the following games.

Today’s match concludes the series, with both teams looking to carry forward their experiences from these intensely fought games.
