System Strong Despite Challenges: Nepali Congress

The Nepali Congress has unequivocally affirmed its commitment to democratic values and the rule of law.

Following a gathering of officials and former officials at President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s residence in Dhumbarahi, Spokesman and Finance Minister Prakash Sharan Mahat emphasized the party’s dedication to fostering good governance, prosperity, and development within the framework of upholding the rule of law.

Mahat commented, “This system has been established through considerable hard work and effort, overcoming various challenges. Attempts to undermine it by citing various pretexts and raising questions have been observed from different quarters. However, the system, constructed by the people, is not inherently fragile. There exists a substantial public support for it. While challenges may arise due to various reasons, the fundamental strength of the system remains robust.”
