The 20-Year Journey of Nepal is Worth Seeing and Wonderful: Guterres

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres stated that Nepal has charted its own course in safeguarding its sovereignty and independence, despite being situated between two major powers.

While addressing the joint session of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly during his visit to Nepal on Tuesday, he commended Nepal’s remarkable progress over the past two decades, describing it as “worth seeing and wonderful.”

He remarked, “Nepal has swiftly embraced the Sustainable Development Goals and is making significant strides in their implementation. The country has effectively resolved conflicts and transitioned from a state of war to one of peace. The United Nations takes pride in supporting this transformative process.”
