UML Prepares for Inaugural Gandaki Province Convention

The CPN-UML is gearing up for its inaugural Gandaki Province convention, slated for October 2nd and 3rd in Pokhara. Dhananjay Dawadi, Secretary of the UML Gandaki Provincial Committee, announced that the process of choosing representatives is currently in progress across all 85 municipalities within the province.

In case of any consensus hurdles, representatives will be elected through a voting procedure. Secretary Dawadi highlighted, “Over 900 representatives are primed to participate in the convention, and we are striving for consensus in their selection. Simultaneously, we are working diligently on administrative preparations.”

Furthermore, it has been disclosed that four central members have already submitted their nominations to participate as representatives in the state convention.
