UML’s Mid-Hill Highway Campaign Concludes After 18 Days

In a remarkable conclusion to an 18-day-long journey, the main opposition party, CPN-UML, successfully wrapped up its Mid-Hill Highway centric campaign on Sunday. The campaign, initiated on November 30 from Jhulaghat of Baitadi, covered a staggering distance of over 2,000 kilometers, concluding at Chiwa Bhanjyang of Panchthar.

UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, a key figure in Nepali politics, marked the end of the campaign by unfurling the national flag at the concluding point. Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Oli expressed his conviction that the campaign had instilled a renewed sense of hope among people who had been grappling with despair.

Chairman Oli went on to claim that the impact of the campaign had not been limited to the CPN-UML alone, asserting that other political parties had also felt its reverberations. He emphasized that the campaign had played a crucial role in dispelling inappropriate thinking while encouraging a mindset that prioritizes the welfare of the country and its people.

The Mid-Hill Highway campaign, with its extensive geographical coverage, aimed to connect with the general public and address their concerns. Chairman Oli, in his closing statements, reiterated the party’s commitment to the betterment of the nation and its citizens. The conclusion of this ambitious campaign marks a significant chapter in CPN-UML’s ongoing efforts to engage with the public and shape the political landscape of Nepal.
