20 Maoist Centre leaders embarked on a visit to China

A delegation from Nepal, led by former Parliament Speaker and Vice Chairperson of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Agni Prasad Sapkota, embarked on a visit to China today at an invitation from the International Department of the Central Committee, Communist Party of China (CCP).

Accompanying Vice President Agni Prasad Sapkota are Ganesh Sah, Hitman Shakya, Dilaram Acharya, Keshav Nepal, Parshuram Ramtel, Jagat Yadav, Tekendra Prasad Bhatt, Subodhraj Sherpali, Ganesh Prasad Mainali, Kuber Bahadur Oli, Prakash Shrestha, Sudarshan Baral, Geethakumari Kannel, Angdava Sherpa, Hark Bahadur Nemwang, Seruram Bhandari, Manhari Timilsina, Laxmikanya Budha, and Asman Rokka.

The delegation’s itinerary includes visits to prominent locations such as Lhasa, the capital of Tibet, and Beijing. Additionally, they are scheduled to engage in various discussions during their visit. The Sapkota-led delegation is expected to conclude their trip and return home on June 1.
