US Dollar Dips Slightly Against Nepali Rupee, Central Bank Adjusts Exchange Rates
The value of the US Dollar (USD) has experienced a minor decline against the Nepali Rupee (NR) today (Thursday), according to the latest foreign exchange rates released by the Nepal Rastra Bank.
As of today, the buying rate for 1 USD is set at NRs 132.56, while the selling price has been fixed at NRs 133.16. This slight adjustment comes in contrast to Wednesday’s rates, where the buying rate was NRs 132.69 and the selling rate was NRs 133.29.
The Nepal Rastra Bank, the country’s central bank, regularly reviews and adjusts exchange rates to ensure stability in the foreign exchange market.
Furthermore, other major currencies have also witnessed adjustments in their exchange rates. The buying rate for 1 Pound Sterling is now NRs 168.62, with a selling rate of NRs 169.39. This is a slight decrease from the previous rates of NRs 168.74 (buying) and NRs 169.59 (selling).
Similarly, the Euro’s buying rate is set at NRs 245.09, and the selling rate is NRs 145.74. Meanwhile, the Qatari Riyal is being bought at NRs 36.36 and sold at NRs 36.52.
In addition, the Australian Dollar (AUD) has a buying rate of NRs 88.86 and a selling rate of NRs 89.26, according to the latest exchange rates provided by the Nepal Rastra Bank.
