RPP Demonstrates for Monarchy and Hindu State – See Pictures

The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) organized a demonstration in Kathmandu on Wednesday afternoon, calling for the reinstatement of monarchy and the designation of Nepal as a Hindu state.

The demonstration, staged at Bhrikuti Mandap, saw the participation of RPP members and supporters, who fervently voiced their demands. Led by RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden and accompanied by leaders like Pashupati Shumsher, the demonstrators marched from Bhrikuti to Bhadrakali, Sundhara, and Ratna Park before concluding back at Bhrikuti Mandap.

Before the demonstration, the RPP submitted a comprehensive 40-point memorandum to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, emphasizing their key demands. These demands included the restoration of monarchy, the reinstatement of Nepal as a Hindu state, the abolition of the provincial structure, and the advocacy for a robust centralized government with empowered local governance.
