Madhav Nepal Urges Government to Confront Parliament Boldly
Madhav Kumar Nepal, Chairman of the Unified Socialist Party, has emphasized the imperative for Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda’s government to face Parliament with resolve. Speaking to reporters in Kathmandu on Friday, Nepal reiterated his party’s support for the current administration and stressed the necessity for it to engage proactively with Parliament.
“We remain committed to this government. It must demonstrate the courage to confront Parliament,” Nepal asserted.
Highlighting the significance of cohesive inter-party relations, Nepal called upon all political factions to collaborate in reinforcing Parliament and preserving Nepal’s political structure.
“We must strengthen ties among our parties. All political groups should unite to bolster Parliament and uphold our current system. We are committed to safeguarding democracy, the republic, the constitution, and accelerating progress,” he affirmed.
