DPM Singh Assigned to Oversee PM’s Administrative Duties During Oli’s Absence

President Ramchandra Paudel has designated Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh to oversee the daily administrative functions of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in the absence of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

PM Oli departed today for a five-day official visit to Thailand (April 1-5) at the invitation of Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra. During the visit, he will attend and address the Sixth BIMSTEC Summit in Bangkok on April 4.

The assignment of responsibilities was made upon the Prime Minister’s recommendation and in accordance with the Constitution, as confirmed by the Office of the President.
