Bagmati Provincial Assembly Meeting to Discuss Key Amendment Bills

The Bagmati Provincial Assembly is set to convene today at 11:00 AM, with several key amendment bills on the agenda.

According to Purna Bahadur Darji, Secretary of the Provincial Assembly Secretariat, the meeting will table the Bill to Amend the Provincial Industrial Business Act, 2076 and the Bill to Amend the Provincial Trade and Entrepreneurs Act, 2076. Additionally, the Bill to Amend the Madan Bhandari Health Sciences Institute Act, 2076 and the Bill to Amend the Provincial Sports Act, 2076 will also be presented.

These bills were originally scheduled for discussion on January 31, the opening day of the Provincial Assembly session, but were postponed due to a lack of consensus among opposition parties.
