Bangladesh’s Foreign Secretary Arrives in Kathmandu

Foreign Secretary of Bangladesh, Masud Bin Momen, arrived in Kathmandu today for the Third Round of Nepal-Bangladesh Foreign Office Consultations.

He received a warm welcome from Bhrigu Dhungana, Joint Secretary (South Asia Division) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ghanshyam Bhandari, Ambassador of Nepal to Bangladesh, at Tribhuvan International Airport.

The third round of Nepal-Bangladesh Foreign Office Consultations is scheduled to take place in Kathmandu on April 17.

Leading the Nepali delegation will be Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal, accompanied by officials from various ministries of the Government of Nepal.

The two delegations will engage in discussions covering a wide range of areas for cooperation between Nepal and Bangladesh.

During his visit, Foreign Secretary Masud is also scheduled to pay a courtesy call on Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Narayan Kaji Shrestha.

Foreign Secretary Masud will depart Kathmandu for Dhaka on April 18.
