BCCI Reveals India’s World Cup Squad

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has unveiled India’s squad for the upcoming ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.

The World Cup of Indian cricket team includes: Rohit Sharma (captain), Hardik Pandya (vice-captain), Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja, Shardul Thakur, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Shami, Axar Patel, Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav.

This 15-member squad showcases the depth and versatility of Indian cricket, with seven batters, four bowlers, and four all-rounders prepared to take on the world’s best in the upcoming tournament.

However, there are some notable omissions, with Shikhar Dhawan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Sanju Samson, and Yuzvendra Chahal not making the cut for the World Cup 2023 squad.
