CIAA files corruption case against three over Pashupati Jalhari case

The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has taken legal action against three individuals, alleging corruption in the installation of a golden jalahari at the revered Pashupatinath Temple.
A case has been filed in the Special court today on charges of corruption, said the CIAA spokesperson Bhola Dahal.
The CIAA lodged a corruption case at the Special Court, naming the following individuals as defendants:
– Pradip Dhakal – Former Member-Secretary of Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT)
– Milan Kumar Thapa – Former Treasurer of PADT
– Arun Kumar Shrestha – Storekeeper
The accusations revolve around the alleged embezzlement of Rs 11.7 million during the process of installing the golden jalahari at Pashupatinath Temple.
