Citizens’ expectations for healthcare remain unmet: Minister Yadav
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health and Population, Upendra Yadav, has admitted that citizen’s expectations and requirements in the delivery of healthcare services have remained unmet.
Talking to the media following his inspection of the Bharatpur Hospital today, the Health Minister said, “Available health facilities are not sufficient.”
As the Minister said, the management of human resources, the strengthening of physical infrastructure structure, and the proper management and utilisation of equipment remain the main challenges in the health sector. According to him, the government is making efforts to address people’s health requirements.
The Minister arrived here to attend the 68th anniversary celebrations of the Bharatpur Hospital.
