DSP Found Dead in Armed Police Force Office Premises in Morang

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Upendra Basyal, aged 38, was discovered deceased within the office premises of the Armed Police Force in Morang. Hailing from Palpa, DSP Basyal was an active member of the Armed Police Force, deeply involved in maintaining border security.

The distressing discovery was made when colleagues found DSP Basyal hanging by a rope tied to a ceiling fan inside his office. He was in charge of the Border Outpost (BOP) in Sorabhag, situated in Dhanpalthan-3, underscoring the gravity of his responsibilities.

The incident has prompted an immediate investigation by the authorities to unravel the circumstances leading to DSP Basyal’s tragic demise. A team from the Nepal Police has swiftly arrived at the scene to conduct a thorough inquiry, aiming to shed light on the events surrounding the incident and provide clarity to the grieving community.
