
Emir of Qatar to Embark on Visit to Nepal


In a significant diplomatic development, the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, is set to make a historic visit to the South Asian nation of Nepal. The visit is scheduled to take place from November 6 to November 8, 2023, and marks a milestone in Qatar-Nepal relations.
According to sources within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Tamim’s visit will commence on November 6 and is expected to span two days, during which he will engage in high-level discussions and diplomatic engagements.
One of the key highlights of the visit is a meeting between Emir Tamim and Nepal’s President, Ram Chandra Paudel. This meeting is expected to focus on strengthening bilateral ties between the two nations and exploring areas of cooperation in various sectors, including trade, investment, and cultural exchange.
While the meeting with President Paudel has been confirmed, other crucial engagements are still in the process of being finalized.
