Five-Day Fine Arts Fair to Begin Tuesday in Kathmandu

A five-day fine arts fair is set to begin in Kathmandu on Tuesday, April 15, in celebration of Nepali New Year 2082 BS and the 16th Establishment Day of the Nepal Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA).

According to NAFA Chancellor Naradmani Hartamchhali, the event will run through April 19 and aims to honor artists, art critics, researchers, and members of the intellectual community. The fair will showcase a diverse array of works spanning multiple genres of fine arts.

NAFA Vice Chancellor and program coordinator, Lalkaji Lama, confirmed that preparations for the event have been completed. “We’ve made every effort to represent all major branches of fine arts at this year’s fair,” he said.

The event promises to be a vibrant celebration of artistic talent and cultural expression, drawing creators and art enthusiasts from across the country.
