Former Lawmaker and Construction Company Owner Hari Narayan Rauniyar Arrested

Hari Narayan Rauniyar, a former lawmaker and the owner of the controversial Pappu Construction, has been apprehended by a police team from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office.
The arrest comes in connection with a fraud case registered in Banke, where allegations suggest his son Sumit is also involved.
Pappu Construction has long been criticized for its poor quality work and frequent construction delays. The company’s reputation has raised concerns among the public and authorities alike.
Rauniyar, who formerly represented the Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal as a lawmaker, was taken into custody from Kathmandu.
