Four party meeting started in Oli’s residence for govt formation

Discussions between the four parties have started at Balkot in Bhaktapur, the residence of CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli.

UML Chair Oli, Maoist Chair Prachanda, RSP Chair Rabi Lamichhane and JSP leader Ashok Rai among other leaders have started the discussion.

After the Nepali Congress took a stand that it could not leave the post of both the President and the Prime Minister, Maoist left the talks and sat in discussions with the UML. After the addition of RSP and JSP, Four parties will have the necessary majority to form the government.

The call made by President Bidya Devi Bhandari to political parties for the formation of the new government, with a deadline of seven days, is ending today.
