Government Aspires to Accelerate Economic Activities: Deputy PM Prakash Man Singh

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development, Prakash Man Singh, emphasized the government’s commitment to accelerating economic activities in Nepal. His remarks came during a program on ‘Existing Constitution and Socialism-Oriented Democracy,’ organized by the Martyrs Memorial Academy to mark the 42nd death anniversary of BP Koirala, Nepal’s first popularly elected Prime Minister.

In his address, Minister Singh highlighted that the current government was formed in response to the nation’s needs and the welfare of its citizens. He reiterated the government’s dedication to fostering economic growth and development.

“The incumbent government was formed as per the need of time and for the cause of citizens,” Singh stated, underscoring the administration’s focus on economic progress and stability.

Additionally, the Deputy Prime Minister acknowledged the possibility of amending the constitution if necessary, indicating the government’s willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and address the needs of the nation.

The event commemorated the legacy of BP Koirala, reflecting on his contributions to Nepal’s democratic journey and the ongoing relevance of his vision in contemporary governance.
