High Court Patan Declares Holiday to Mourn the Passing of Judge Maraseni

The High Court Patan has declared a holiday today to mourn the untimely death of Judge Matrika Prasad Maraseni. The announcement was made by Tirth Raj Bhattarai, the spokesperson for High Court Patan, who mentioned that the decision extends to the Hetauda bench and all district courts under its jurisdiction.

Judge Maraseni, a respected member of the legal community, passed away at the age of 56 on Tuesday due to a heart attack. He was undergoing treatment at the Nepal National Hospital in Kalanki at the time of his demise. The legal fraternity and the community at large are saddened by the loss of a dedicated and esteemed member of the judiciary.
