IGP Singh off to UAE for 24th INTERPOL Asian Regional Conference

Inspector General of Police Dhiraj Pratap Singh has left for Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

IGP Singh went there to participate in 24th INTERPOL Asian Regional Conference.

The conference will be held from February 7 to February 9.

Inspector General of Police Singh, who is also the head of National Central Bureau (NCB) Kathmandu Nepal is accompanied by Superintendent of Police of Interpol branch of the Nepal Police Headquarter, Anupam Shumsher Rana.

In the conference, there will be a comprehensive discussion among police chiefs of Asian countries, delegations of Interpol and various stakeholders on the issues like combating financial crime, human trafficking, cybercrime and terrorism.

In the absence of IGP Singh, Additional Inspector General (AIG) Shakul Thapa will handle the daily administrative work of the Nepal Police Headquarters.
