Indian Diplomats and Bhutanese Officer Calls on Foreign Minister Saud

A delegation of six young Indian diplomats from the Batch of 2022, along with a Bhutanese Foreign Service officer has paid a visit to the Nepali Foreign Minister, NP Saud. The Indian Foreign Service officers and the Bhutanese diplomat are currently in Nepal as part of their orientation training programme.

As part of their visit, an interaction was organized by the Nepal’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where they had the opportunity to engage with their Nepali counterparts. The meeting provided a platform for the diplomats to exchange views on matters of mutual interest and explore ways to strengthen the existing relations between their respective countries.

Before their visit to Nepal, the delegation visited the Integrated Check Post (ICP) in Birgunj to gain a better understanding of the land route connectivity between India and Nepal. The visit was aimed at enhancing their knowledge and experience in matters of cross-border trade and connectivity.
