Madhav Nepal Heads to Indonesia, Why?

Former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal,  Chairman of Unified Socialist, has left for Indonesia on a significant three-country visit. Departing from Tribhuvan International Airport late Sunday night, Chairman Nepal is en route to attend the International Communist Party meeting.

The meeting, set to be held in Indonesia, will witness the participation of communist party leaders from various countries. The primary agenda of the gathering is to engage in discussions about the current state of communist theory in their respective nations, its impact, and its contribution to national development.

Following the conference in Indonesia, Chairman Nepal is scheduled to proceed to Singapore and Malaysia to take part in the respective meetings there. During his five-day visit to these countries, he plans to hold courtesy meetings with top leaders to discuss bilateral interests and strengthen diplomatic ties.

Mohan Gautam, the personal secretary of Chairman Madhav Kumar, confirmed the itinerary and highlighted the importance of the trip for reinforcing Nepal’s international relationships.

In the absence of Chairman Nepal, Vice Chairman Rajendra Pandey has been entrusted with the responsibility of Acting Chairman.
