Malaysia’s innings got off to a strong start with opener Syed Aziz showcasing an impressive display of batting prowess, amassing 68 runs. He established a formidable opening partnership of 58 runs with Jubaidi Zulkifle, who contributed 24 runs before being dismissed by Abinash Bohara.
However, Nepal’s bowlers managed to strike at regular intervals. Captain Ahmed Faiz was run out after adding just 3 runs to the total, while Virendeep Singh was dismissed for 4 runs.
