Minister Basnet Calls for Free Education up to Class 12 Nationwide

Minister for Health and Population, Mohan Bahadur Basnet, has voiced a compelling call for free education up to class 12 throughout Nepal. Speaking at a conference held in Kathmandu on Friday, Minister Basnet emphasized the importance of providing free education for all students up to the 12th grade.

Minister Basnet firmly believes that the state should take responsibility for ensuring that education up to class 12 is accessible to every student, regardless of their economic background. He has actively initiated discussions in both the Parliament and the Council of Ministers to push for the implementation of this vital education reform.

Highlighting the significance of education and healthcare as fundamental needs of the people, Minister Basnet stressed that the progress and management of the nation hinge on the development of these critical sectors.
