Nepalese Peacekeepers Support Malek Primary School in South Sudan

Peacekeepers from Nepal and the UNMISS Protection, Transition & Reintegration Section in Rumbek have demonstrated their commitment to building trust with local communities by supporting Malek Primary School in South Sudan.

With a focus on improving the learning environment for the students, the peacekeepers handed over a range of essential supplies, including umbrellas, school bags, notebooks, and 20 benches. These items are expected to positively impact the educational experience of the students, making their learning environment more comfortable and conducive to academic growth.

The provision of these supplies signifies the UN’s dedication to supporting education in conflict-affected areas and fostering peace and stability in South Sudan.
