Nepali Kickboxer Abiral Ghimire Triumphs Again in Japan, Clinches ‘Professional Kick Boxing HEAT 52 Championship’

Abiral Ghimire, a distinguished international kickboxer hailing from Nepal, has once again secured a remarkable victory on the global stage. He emerged as the triumphant winner of the ‘Professional Kick Boxing HEAT 52 Championship,’ a prestigious tournament held in Tokyo, Japan.

Fighting under the moniker ‘Himalayan Cheetah,’ Ghimire showcased his remarkable skills by defeating his opponent Yang from South Korea within an astonishing one minute and fifty-five seconds. This swift victory secured him the coveted championship title. Ghimire’s participation in the tournament marks a historic milestone as he becomes the first Nepali to compete in this esteemed event.

At just 23 years old, Ghimire has solidified his presence in the professional kickboxing realm in Japan. With an impressive track record of 13 HEAT Championship titles, including three ‘Man of the Match’ distinctions, he has proven himself to be a force to be reckoned with.

His prowess knows no bounds, having already conquered opponents from diverse corners of the world including Japan, Brazil, Bolivia, the Netherlands, Thailand, and more. Ghimire’s journey has been further enriched by his father, Dev Ghimire, who serves as his coach in Japan. Dev Ghimire himself boasts a history as a former international kickboxer and full contact karate player.

Originally hailing from Gurjudhara in Chandragiri Municipality-12, Kathmandu, the Ghimire family has spent the past few years residing in Nagoya, Japan. This latest victory adds to Abiral Ghimire’s growing list of accomplishments and brings pride not only to him but also to the nation he represents on the international stage.
