NRNANCC Macau’s Fresh Chapter: Santosh Gurung Takes the Helm as President

: In a recent convention held on December 21, the Non-Resident Nepali Association National Coordination Council (NRNANCC) in Macau announced the formation of a new 13-member working committee to lead its initiatives. The convention was attended by enthusiastic members eager to contribute to the welfare of the Nepali community in Macau.

Santosh Gurung, a dynamic individual born in Pokhara, Kaski, has been chosen to lead the committee as its President. Having arrived in Macau in 2004, Gurung brings a wealth of experience and dedication to his new role.

Purna Bahadur Gurung has been appointed as a member of the International Coordination Council (ICC), reflecting the organization’s commitment to fostering international collaboration.

The newly elected working committee members include Man Kumari Gurung, Kal Bahadur Tamang, Srijan Timalsina, Krishna Magarati, Himmaya Gurung, Shyam Kumar Shrestha, Tol Bahadur Rana, Anita Gurung, Sanjaya Adhikari, Manita Shrestha, Binod Regmi, and Mahesh Giri. This diverse team is poised to contribute to the NRNANCC’s goals and objectives.

President Santosh Gurung shared that while the committee has been formed, there is still work to be done to finalize its composition. The first meeting held after the formation of the new executive committee focused on nominating additional members and assigning responsibilities.

The NRNANCC in Macau plays a crucial role in connecting the Nepali diaspora and promoting their welfare. The new leadership is expected to bring fresh perspectives and initiatives to further enhance the organization’s impact and support for the Nepali community in Macau.
