PM Prachanda and FAO Director-General Hold Meeting

Prime Minister of Nepal, Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, and QU Dongyu, the Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), engaged in a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the United Nations Food Systems Summit (UNFSS).

The meeting aimed to address critical matters pertaining to agricultural practices, food security, and sustainable development in Nepal.

During the constructive dialogue, both leaders discussed strategies to enhance agricultural methods and promote sustainable practices in the country. They emphasized the importance of bolstering food security measures to ensure a reliable and stable food supply for the nation’s population.
