Qatari Prime Minister Assures Diligent Efforts for Release of Bipin Joshi

the Foreign Minister of Nepal, Narayan Prakash Saud, engaged in a courtesy meeting today with the Prime Minister of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, in Doha. The meeting, which covered various bilateral aspects, took a critical turn as the two leaders discussed the release of Bipin Joshi, a Nepali national currently held in captivity in Gaza.

The discussions between the two sides encompassed a range of topics, including trade and investment matters, cooperation through the Qatar Fund for Development, and the exchange of high-level visits. However, the matter of utmost importance was the safe and swift release of Bipin Joshi, whose captivity has been a source of concern for Nepal.

Prime Minister Al-Thani assured Foreign Minister Saud that all possible efforts are underway to facilitate the release of Bipin Joshi from captivity in Gaza.
