Sticker Visas Now Mandatory for Travel to Indonesia from Nepal

The Embassy of Indonesia in Dhaka, overseeing Nepal affairs, has announced the implementation of mandatory sticker visas for individuals entering Indonesia from Nepal. This decision comes in response to challenges encountered during the processing of e-visas through various agencies in both Indonesia and Nepal.

In an official circular, the embassy emphasized that the new arrangements aim to streamline and enhance the visa application process. It has been suggested that all visa-related procedures be conducted exclusively through the office of the non-paid consul in Kathmandu, Indonesia. This move is expected to centralize and expedite the visa application process for travelers from Nepal.

The embassy has acknowledged difficulties in the e-visa application process and, in light of this, has advised against applying for e-visas when departing from Nepal to Indonesia. The measure is part of an effort to address and rectify errors in the current e-visa system.

Travelers are now required to obtain a sticker visa before entering Indonesia, and the embassy has urged individuals to comply with the new regulations to ensure a smooth and hassle-free travel experience.
