Tragic Car Accident in Shravasti, India Claims Six Lives from Nepalgunj (Video)

In a devastating road accident that occurred on Saturday night, six members of two families from Nepalgunj lost their lives. The accident took place when an Indian-registered car (UP 47 W 1217), traveling from Balrampur, collided with a cow on the road in Shravasti district.

The victims have been identified as Baibhav Gupta, aged 35, his wife Dipika Gupta, 32, and their young children, three-year-old Dallu Gupta and six-month-old daughter Shreya Gupta. Additionally, Nilans Gupta, 22, and his sister Sunita Gupta, 20, both from Tribhuvan Chowk, Nepalgunj, were also tragically killed in the accident.

The car’s driver, Ajay Mishra, sustained critical injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment. According to Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Banke, Santosh Singh Rathore, the authorities are working to complete the necessary formalities for postmortem in Bahraich, India, before repatriating the bodies to Nepal.

The news of this heartbreaking accident has left the community in Nepalgunj devastated, as two families have lost their loved ones in this unforeseen tragedy.
