UML leaders meets RSP’s Chair Lamichhane, seeks support in presidential election

CPN-UML has asked for the support of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) in the presidential election to be held on March 9.

Leaders of UML held a meeting with RSP Chairman Rabi Lamichhane at the latter’s office and asked for his help in the presidential election.

UML Vice-Chairman Subash Nembang, leaders Bishnu Paudel and Prithvi Subba Gurung met Lamichhane and discussed the other contemporary politics.

Nembang is also the presidential candidate from the party.

Earlier, the UML leaders had met Madhav Kumar Nepal, Chairman of Unified Socialist party , and asked for votes in favor of Nembang.

Presidential candidates—Ram Chandra Poudel and Nembang are busy in meeting asking for votes in their favour. Nepali Congress’s Poudel is the common candidate of eight-party alliance while Nembang is the candidate of the CPN (UML).
