Urgent Appeal from Nepali Students in Israel (Video)

In a desperate plea for help, five Nepali students studying in Israel are seeking assistance from Nepal government following the violence they have endured due to an attack by the Palestinian rebel group Hamas.

Bipin Subedi, one of the affected students, released a video message from an unsecured bunker where they have been seeking refuge for the past three days. These students had traveled to Israel to pursue their education at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, a part of Sudurpaschim University.

Subedi described the terrifying situation, stating that missiles have been raining down on their bunker every night. He urgently requested the Government of Nepal to come to their rescue, as their lives are in constant danger from the attackers.

He shared the profound fear they experience each night when the missiles strike, making it impossible to get any rest. “We lost 10 friends. We are still afraid that we will also be lost,” Subedi said in the video. “We remember the screams of ten friends, the calls made by ten friends to us, everything. No sleep through the night.”
