Three girls drown in Dhanusha

Three girls died after drowning in a pond in Dhanusha on Thursday. They drowned in a public pond at Dhanauji Rural Municipality-5.
Ranjan Awa, Spokesperson of District Police Office, Dhanusha informed that three girls aged 10 to 12 years drowned while swimming in the pond on Thursday afternoon.
Muskan Khatun, Jinat Khatun and Ajmeri Khatun of Bahuarwa are among those who lost lives in the incident. Although the locals tried to rescue the girls from drowning, their efforts went in vain. The bodies of all three have been kept in Janakpur Provincial Hospital for post-mortem, police added.
