Bartaula Appointed Chief Whip, Baral Named Whip of UML Parliamentary Party

The CPN (UML) Parliamentary Party has undergone key changes with Mahesh Bartaula appointed as the Chief Whip and Sunita Baral named the Whip.

UML Chair and Parliamentary Party Leader KP Sharma Oli designated Bartaula as the Chief Whip and Baral as the Whip during a decision made today. This comes as Padam Giri, who previously held the position of Chief Whip, was recently sworn in as a minister in the newly-formed Council of Ministers. Bartaula now takes over the role from Giri.

Both Bartaula and Baral have risen through the ranks from student politics and are recognized leaders within the party.

The appointments signal a strategic move within the UML Parliamentary Party as it navigates through evolving political landscapes and consolidates its position in the current political scenario.
