Cement production obstructed
14th Sep 2023
Cement production at Hetauda Cement Industry has been obstructed due to a machine breakdown. The breakdown of equipment in the coal mill has led to the halt of cement production, it is said.
The machine will be repaired within three to four days soon and the industry will resume cement production, said the industry’s Deputy General Manager Nabin Kumar Karna.
Now, the industry has stocked enough amounts of coals and limestone, he said. The industry produces 10,000 sacks of cement on a daily basis. Earlier, the industry had remained closed for around two months due to the lack of coals, said Shatru Aryal, officer of the industry administration division.
