Chinese ambassador Yanqi got transferred

Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Hou Yanqi has been transferred.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China has given her the responsibility of ambassador to ASEAN, an organization of Southeast Asian countries.
She will also look at bilateral relations with Indonesia.
Ambassador of America to Nepal , Randy Berry has already left Nepal . Hou is also ready to leave Nepal by December.
Hou Yanqi came to Kathmandu as Nepal’s ambassador in 2018.
The Chinese ambassador , Yanqi was too involved in controversy while staying in Nepal. Chinese President Xi Jinping also visited Nepal during Hou’s tenure.
