Dr. Kamalraj Gaire Dismissed from Ministry Position

The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development announced the dismissal of Joint Secretary Dr. Kamalraj Gaire on Friday. According to the ministry’s statement, Dr. Gaire had not been in contact since April 15, 2023, and his absence prompted a decisive action.

The decision to terminate his employment was made by the Council of Ministers under Section 6 of Clause 61 (1) of the Civil Service Act, 2049, which allows for the dismissal of a civil servant who has been absent for more than 90 consecutive days without official leave.
