Common personality deserves to be President: PM Dahal

Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Centre) and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said he and his party were clear for a common personality to be elected the new President of the country because it is the ultimate position to protect the constitution.
During a virtual address to the central committee meeting of the party on Thursday, PM Dahal said the past experience also warrants that the Head of the State to be a common figure. The past mistakes should be taken into account, he said, reiterating the need for common personality for the Highest Position of the State.
Information to this was shared by PM Dahal’s expert on press, Manohari Timilsina. Timilsina is also the central member of the party.
Similarly, party General Secretary Dev Prasad Gurung shared his views on the decisions the recent standing committee meeting took.
Chairman Dahal made clear to the central members on the decision taken by the standing committee meeting.
It was also informed that the party would conduct a two-month long nationwide organizational campaign.
As part of the campaign, the Maoist Centre will reach the people and garner their feedback.
