
Elephant killed one in Bara


Sheikh Rokaida Khatun, 51, of Amlekhgunj Bara, Jitpur Simara-21 died in an elephant attack in on Thursday.
The elephant attacked her while she was herding goats in a nearby forest.
She was rushed to hospital after the attack but succumbed to injuries, according to Area Police Office, Simara.
Sheikh was herding goats in a forest of Parsa National Park behind the Nepal Oil Corporation’s depot.
Local people have been herding cattle there for a long time.
