Engineers on waiting list of PSC to be hired on contract

Kathmandu Metropolitan City is going to give priority to the engineers on contract who are on the alternative list of the Public Service Commission (PSC).

On Tuesday, the Metropolitan Municipality issued a notice that civil engineers, architects, electrical engineers, and structural engineers who are in the alternative list of 15 advertisements published by the PSC will be appointed on contract according to the order of merit.

The KMC executive meeting decided this after the ward chairmen repeatedly raised their voices saying that there was a problem due to the lack of engineers.
