Govt provides relief to families of those killed during election: Home Minister Khand

Home Minister Balkrishna Khand has said the families of security persons and citizens killed during the conduct of November 20 election would be provided relief.
Home Minister Khand said it during a meeting of the central security committee held on Thursday. The election was held successfully with the contribution and cooperation of all sides, which he argued, has helped implement the constitution. The Minister further said periodic elections are the beautiful aspect of democracy, which the government has been successful to hold.
Khand thanked everyone- the security persons and the citizens- for carrying out their responsibility to make the election a success. He paid tribute to those who lost their lives in the course of duty. For the upkeep of their families, the government provides relief, he assured.
He extended special thanks to the security for its devotion despite limited resources. The weaknesses will be corrected, and positive aspects carried on, Minister Khand viewed.
Also, the Nepali Congress leader who however lost the election, Minister Khand expressed the belief that the new government would fulfill the aspiration of the people.
