ICC Recognizes Four Nepali Players as Ones to Watch in U-19 World Cup

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has identified four talented Nepali players in its prestigious ‘Players to Watch’ list for the upcoming U-19 Cricket World Cup, scheduled to kick off on January 19.

Leading the pack is Nepal’s dynamic captain, Dev Khanal, who has already left a mark with his leadership skills. Joining him are experienced players Gulshan Jha and Dev Khanal, both of whom have previously showcased their prowess at the senior level. The youthful duo of Arjun Kumal and Durgesh Gupta, with their exceptional performances in the Under-19 category, have also earned a spot on the coveted list.

In a recent warm-up match against Scotland, Nepal demonstrated their cricketing prowess by securing a convincing victory with a 7-wicket dismissal under the DLS method due to rain interruptions.
